Accidental Devotions

Part prayer, part conversation with the dead, part love letter to the strange beauty of being human, Accidental Devotions is a collection that refuses to separate the sacred from the everyday. Here, grief sits beside humor, Emily Dickinson shares space with smartphones, and wonder appears in unexpected places. These poems ask how we live, love, and pay attention in a world that is both heartbreaking and astonishing.

Poems read:
“Some Days You Wonder if God Has Left the Group Chat”
“Accidental Devotion to Poets with Smoldering Wings”
“Falling in love is good for the universe”

these are the waterfalls in my head
Yas Press Publication, 2026

Playlist:

these are the waterfalls in my head is comprised of prose poem dreamscapes representing actual dreams and nightmares I've had as someone dealing with schizophrenia and PTSD, as well as rendering the hopes and fears of people I care about into dreamlike states. The poems lack titles, instead plunging the reader into dream after dream, with pauses provided by a repeating graphical element.
