Little Deaths
Death brought us together
at the graveyard sipping whatever
was passed our way, trading lies
until even the dead
believed us. We sat on cool stones
sailing the trim perfection
of zoysia, cut flowers.
We fucked on Elizabeth,
faithful wife of Norman.
We died as much as we could.
