Estrange

I
A cactus washes up on the shore.

II
A crowd gathers.

III
They are afraid to push it back.

IV
The thorns, they say.

V
A woman arrives.

VI
She carries something specific.

VII
And she removes the thorns.

VIII
The crowd pushes the cactus back.

IX
What's wrong, they say.

X
I don't belong.
