The DMQ Review

Design (ghazal #51)

Each rendering shines forth a beaming masterpiece,
For form is in itself a gleaming masterpiece.

When does a leaf or petal burgeon out of joint?
Never, for each comes forth a seeming masterpiece.

This crazed soul that shattered like a fallen crystal,
Has been restored into this dreaming masterpiece.

Clouds ever refolding dance aloft on the wind,
Each new pattern another streaming masterpiece.

What are the chances there are no mistakes, Zahhar,
That joy and pain comprise a teeming masterpiece?
